Will 33" tires fit my 3/4ton 2wd

Anybody running 33" tall tires on a 69 3/4ton 2wd truck?

It's actually a Suburban, but I thought more people would see the question here. Tires are 33x12.5-16.5 BF Goodrich Mud terrains.

Thanks

I am running 31x10.5x15 on my 69 2wd 1/2 and that is about all it can handle. You may be able to pull it off on a 3/4ton.

It depends on the width......a narrow 33 might work...but doubtfull!!!

I bought a stock 4x4 72 blazer that had 33x12.50 on it add they rubbed in the turns

Stllookn, I like that look. I'll check my backspacing.

Thanks everyone.

heres my '71 with 33 inch tires. I did have to trim the front fenders at the bottom because of rubbing in turns.

What size are your wheels? What kind are they? Do you have a side view?

Looks great!

Thanks. My tire deal fell through.

Anyone running anything larger than a 33" tire with stock suspension.

Re: Will 33" tires fit my 3/4ton 2wd

pmpski, These are 9.75 x 16.5 wagon wheels with 4.75" BS. I don't like them but they came with the tires. I will be switching the tires to my aluminum slots or smoothie steel 9.75's with the clips.

I will be at the XXX this Sunday for the truck meet with this truck if you want to take a peek. Then again...I might switch over to the aluminium slots too. Man can't have too many sets of wheels and tires....LOL!

If you want to change it up for cheap......paint the wheels, find some chrome center caps and trim rings and turn them into budget ralleys. Ive done it!!!

Re: Will 33" tires fit my 3/4ton 2wd

72Freak, Thanks but I have two sets of alloy slots waiting for those tires. I did not want to switch over until I was sure the tires were good. I have about 100 miles on them now and will do the switch. I had to take some heat at the XXX on Sunday for those wheels!

FREE Wagon wheels to whomever wants them...no shipping...LOL!
