Marietta, GA Show
The Marietta Auto Fair is this weekend. I know some of you will be there. So if anybody else from the board shows up stop by and meet me and other board members.

As of right now I have been given the all-important wife's permisson. I hope to be there Saturday for at least a few hours. Looking forward to it. Should be there with my buddies. They have a black 72 that they are showing to sell. Should be pretty sharp.

David,
I have a soccer game in the morning, BUT i'll try to be over there before lunchtime. Is this a show? OR just a 'fair' for selling parts? Should I bring my truck? Brian I wonder who else is going......

How much do they charge for selling some stuff? Is it a booth fee? or just an entrance fee?
I'm hauling a bunch of parts i'm trying to GIVE away so maybe that's an option. eh? Brian

I'll be there.Brian, if you have some wing window latches, I could use a couple.I found a pair at Horsepower in the Horsepark but didn't think $50.00 was a fair price.I will probably show up about 10:30 or so on Sat. and stay most of the afternoon but The Queen of VISA has told me that Sun. is a Honey-Do day.

DELAND!
That's great news. It'll be great to see you again. BUT I don't have any window vent parts. I BET DAVID DOES. OR he can find them and get them to you. David? Brian

marietta GA is in the northwest corner of metro atlanta, OFF i-75.
The show is at Jim R. Miller park. I'd do a search from mapquest on this address: 2245 Callaway Rd Sw Marietta, GA 30008-4440, US Thing is, this is NOT a car show. It's really a parts show / swap meet for all different kinds of stuff. They have tons of good car shows there during the year, but I'd say this one is mostly parts / swap stuff. But then again, David, Deland and i will be there.

thanks for the address
I called information, they said something about a car show on sat. and sunday. is it worth going to if you're not in the market for anything? I was under the impression that it was like the super chevy show.. where they had cars on show.. and then a swap meet also. I mean, I need brakes, a gas tank, fuel lines, a front sway and an adjustable tracking arm for my truck right now.. but I want this stuff new, I dont want to buy used ones.. Unless any of this would be there.. and at better then ordered out of a catalog prices, I wont need to buy anything. |

actually I lied.. I dont have anything to do this weekend and I wont until I get these parts..
but I only have $500 to blow on my truck and it needs like $1500 worth of parts on it to finish the frame. I dont think it'd be worth a trip way up there past atlanta to get depressed seeing all the things I can't afford. |
