GMC Pauls new policy?

As GMC Paul has resurfaced I have a beef of my own. GMC Paul, I ordered a complete floorpan and some other things yesterday online, give my credit card for payment, it got processed, printed the invoice. I was looking for way to track my order today when I read on your policys tab you won't ship outside the USA. I've phoned this morning and was told the order will just be automatically VOIDED, WTF?. Or I could have it shipped to a US address then ship to Canada. The trouble with this is I don't live in the USA. I'm trying to support a site vendor, I'm just a site supporter trying to build my truck, Any way you can change your policy? Is a different payment type required instead?

Re: GMC Pauls new policy?

Hi, Buffrock its not a new policy as its over 5 years now since we quit shipping outside the USA. This policy was created after we lost thousands of $$ on Canadian customers refusing to pay import duties where parts still are released by shipping company to customer and themn import duties are back charged to the shipper us, stolen credit cards purchases, because not all Canadian credit card companies are tied into the credit card fraud verification system.
We state we do not ship outside the USA not only on our polcies page but also on the checkout page that we do not ship outside the USA, in fact we state it twice on the checkout page in our shipping cart drop down bar and our order polcies at the bottom of the page.
The entire cab floor requires truck freight shipment and you'll find the majority of freight companies do not deliver outside the USA so you'll run into several problems just finding a freight company to deliver into Canada.
I wish we could help everyone with there parts no matter where they lived or what they need but we can't.
Sorry
Paul @ GMCPauls
