Rear axle drilling
I am asking for your help with my rear axle. It is a pre-71 6 lug axle. I would like to have a 5 on 5 pattern. Can anyone give me advice on how to move forward. Do I need 71-72 drums..how do I find a shop to drill them...any imput would be greatly appreciated.

You either have to get your axles redrilled and obtain 5 lug drums...or buy a 6to5 lug rear axle/brake swap kit from one of the many vendors.

Take The Axles To A Machine Shop, That's What I Did On Some 6 Bolt Axles.

i asked my local machine shop about this and they told me that in the end its better and cheeper the just but the replacement axels form summit and drill the drums
