alrite guys.. my truck is goin under the knife again... a lil bit.. i have been contemplating the swap to a manual trans for a while and reading of how extensive it is. today i found a '70 C30 with a sm465. was givin the truck just cuz he wanted to be rid of it.. it has a good flat bed, decent tires, and all trans/engine parts intact... my current truck is an '82 gmc c15 with freshly rebuilt 305 w/mild cam and aluminum intake..and a rebuilt th350. i know other than the tranny i will need the shifter, clutch pedal, linkage, clutch,and pressure plate.. and possibly a new driveshaft and rear tranny ?bracket?.. but i was wondering about the starter. currently on the 305, the starter is mounted to the block. i thought when i looked at this truck that the starter is mounted to the tranny. if anyone could give me any insight on what to do with this it would be greatly appreciated. Jeremy

The starter will mount the same. You will also need the floor hump cover.

ok thanks alot.. and yeah i forgot to throw that in.. this is the first of many little things i want to add to the "work truck" .....
