Let me look around the garage. I think I put it up on a rack. You many need to drill some holes to fit your frame. Especially if you are installing a 700R4. 81 frames and older don't have holes for 700R4 locations.

Checkout the custom crossmembers here too.

i have a 76 2wd auto (th350) crossmember-- id have to check on shipping, but id like to get $30 out of the crossmember for time taking it out.

Whats involved with taking one out? Are they bolted in or riveted?

The truck has a 350, so that would be better, but the shipping from KY may kill the deal; please let me know.

i can PROBABLY get it out this weekend, as im planning to take the cab and clip off the frame saturday

I completely appreciate what it takes to grind the rivets off to get one of these out, so I don't think $30 is out of line at all. Nonetheless, $50 is more than I wanted to spend. I'll keep looking local, thanks!

ill have to look under my 74.. its been in the family since 1976, with the trans never being out of it. i know untill 72 they were rivited, but honestly ive never looked on a 73+

Has anyone ever used one of these universal crossmembers? It looks like the center part has to be welded to the bolt-in frame brackets. Is this true or does it connect together differently?
