rear bag placement
anyone see a problem with putting the bags over the axle on our trucks? i have a 7" step notch that i was going to run box tubing from one side to the other. then have my mounting plates welded to the rearend and to the tubing. the reason i say this is because i have a 3" gap there (between the tubing and the rearend) when the truck is laid out and my bags, when fully compressed, are 3". i dont have that large of a gap in the coil spring spot. thanks for any input

are you running the stock trailing arm setup or leaf? if your running the trailing arm setup then why put them there if you can put them where the springs go and get more lift from them?

I think thats ok to mount them on top, look athow semi's and sh*t re set up, there are s manyways to do it. I think over the axel wouldn'tbe any worse on a bag than on the trailing arm
