truck bed

Hey guys can I put a step side bed on a 79 fleet side? and what year do I use?

As long as both boxes the same wheelbase then yes its possible. Any 73-87 stepside box should fit. But I think the 73-74 stepsides have side marker lights on the fenders.

If im not mistaken the only thing different about the stepside beds from the fifties to 1987 was the fenders. the rest of the box is the same but 73-87 complete beds are the same
