Rare 4 door 4x4
If someone can do a link on ebay # 330211888644, sorry, I am not computer literate. Price seems a little high, but a rare vehicle in any condition.

Re: Rare 4 door 4x4
To be clear, they are not factory. They were built by an aftermarket conversion company by cutting up a truck off the assembly line and adding a few extra parts here and there. Many were sold off dealer lots just like Centurion and other conversions are today. Since they were built purely for the utility of the big cab, they just did it the cheapest, easiest way. They were not built for style. If GM had built a crew cab in that era, you can be pretty sure that it would have looked a lot better.

Re: Rare 4 door 4x4
I think it would be cool to have one of those with the suburban doors and a longhorn bed. Yeah I know over kill! But 10,000.00...dont see that happening...no matter how bad I want it.

Re: Rare 4 door 4x4
I've never seen one so heavily optioned, esp with front buckets. It apears to be in pretty awesome shape too in reality.

Re: Rare 4 door 4x4
I used to own a 2wd version of this truck...... this is only the 2nd GMC I have ever seen in this particlular body variation. While definately not as attractive, they are quite roomy inside.
Mine was a 72 GMC 2500 2wd 402/400/ Add on A/C. It was in much worse shape than this one though......

The town in North Missouri (Moberly) where I grew up, was a Wabash & (later) Norfork & Western Railroad hub & shop area, & where train crews & service operations were assembled from on a daily basis. I remember there used to be bunches of these (what I thought were truly "fugly" trucks) around in the day. Probably there's still a few hiding out in salvage yards in that area, if they've been able to escape the crushers. If they went out of service before the road salt usage started, they might not be in too bad condition. |

Re: Rare 4 door 4x4
I agree, highly optioned and the buddy buckets (Blazer Buckets, can't tell) are cool and rare is for sure, although not stock it was done with the good graces of GM so let's not split hairs. If I bought (I won't, not for 10g's anyways!) I'd put the burb doors in there as I don't like the triangle panel between the doors. 4X4 is way cool!!

Re: Rare 4 door 4x4
In most anything one ton...like I said I might be wrong. The last 4 or 5 crew cabs and one tons I have had has all had BBC in them.
