Spindles ?
Will 73-87 rotors fit on 72 spindles? are they the same thing? I keep getting the run a round at the auto parts store.

If it is a 2wd raybestos part #5006
shows to fit from 72-87 so Yes

Most 73-87 parts are interchangable. If you are at an autozone or something make sure you get someone that actually knows parts not your average new kid, they relay on the pc to tell them. I have battle all the time when i get parts. "what year is it" 66. "what part do you need" 73 chevy 350 spark plugs and front rotor for an 87 suburban. "huh"

I like having fun with those guys too. Get some puzzled looks at times. Still I could do without the bogus questions. In my 77's shop manual I have a list of all the years to tell the parts guy.
 I think one day I should break down and get the Hollander manual (here: https://www.hollanderinterchange.net...p?campaign_id= to answer questions like the one above.
