4x4 swb e-brake
A little help please to get my e-brake back to life. The intermediate cable is gone and I need to know what kind of hook or spring attaches to the right side of the frame to equalize the intermediate cable. There is a bracket attached to the right frame in approximately the same place as the left bracket for the front e-brake cable. Anybody got any pictures, assembly manual pages or know the configuration of the e-brake intermediate cable on my 1971 swb 4x4?

Re: 4x4 swb e-brake
Here is a picture of the intermediate cable setup that I mocked up. It is fairly simple since the short frame does not have much room between the front cable and the rear cables. The white paint is to highlight the brackets where the cables are held in place. Not shown is the spring that attaches to the front cable and the body for pulling the front cable back when releasing the e-brake.
If the weather clears I can take a pic of my short box but right now everything is snowed in here. Jim

Re: 4x4 swb e-brake
Thanks for the reply, JimK!! Circled is the area of concern. Is this just the standard cable hook offered on most vendor sites?

Re: 4x4 swb e-brake
I looked at In Line Tube's set and they don't include the hooked end rod.
If you have not talked to them, give them a call as they seem to know what they are doing. Here is a link to their web site: http://www.inlinetube.com/ Jim
