Blower motor question

A few weeks ago, I was going thru the heat and a/c controls. I pulled all the boxes out, tested the cables, the levers, the flappers in the boxes. I need a new diverter box, since the flapper has broken off the shaft.

Well while I was in there I noticed the resistor was unplugged. I figured the resistor was bad, since it only worked in high speed.

I plugged the resistor back in, and whaalaaa. The fan worked in all speeds.

I put everything back in, making a patch repair on the diverter box and went to bed.

I came out the next morning and headed to the store. Flipped the switch for fan and it came on, made a click, and quit. Now it doesn't work in any speed. I need to find a wiring diagram (for this and future projects), so I can trace the problem.

Has anyone had this happen before?
