Re: Pic of that suburban cut down to blazer?
That is super nice looking. Buy I wouldn't be able to decide if I would rather have a blazer or a tahoe out of a suburban.

Re: Pic of that suburban cut down to blazer?
The guy that did it is at www.67-72tahoe.com If your going to the Portland swap meet you might see him. He had a couple of other projects last year.

Re: Pic of that suburban cut down to blazer?
Frizzle Fry built a '69 "Tahoe" and did an excellent job. Here is a link to his build thread.

Re: Pic of that suburban cut down to blazer?
I think it looks good but I would have to do something different on the back doors. Thanks for the pics, I am looking for a suburban roof as we speak. Also if the roof was reskined and flattend where it was not so tall looking I think it would look much better for a custom.

Re: Pic of that suburban cut down to blazer?
kade, I agree with you I would have to do something different with the doors in the rear. Other than that... those things are SICK!!!!!

Re: Pic of that suburban cut down to blazer?
No, thinking of making it a wagon type. The topless theme is nice but I intend on driving mine and don't wanna worry about a rain cloud. And since the interior will be in the 5K range I don't think the top will be coming off anyways.

Re: Pic of that suburban cut down to blazer?
why does he not paint the white tops all the way back and make it even on the back doors? they look so weird without the tops of the doors painted. did burbs come body color even when they had a white top?
those are sweet... now we just need to see a 4wd tahoe! |

Re: Pic of that suburban cut down to blazer?
Those look cool. And they start at $9500. I'm wondering if you have to supply the 'Burb though.

Re: Pic of that suburban cut down to blazer?
I agree the top of the doors should be white. I'm pretty sure the price is for conversion of a customer supplied Burb. A little steep IMO unless it includes paint.

Re: Pic of that suburban cut down to blazer?
I decided to do a traizer and picked up a cab, doors, and another roof for the 2" chop but I am going to be out of work at the end of June so I am not spending any money on it now. I did the reasearch and it would be a major PITA to put a burban roof on a blazer.

Re: Pic of that suburban cut down to blazer?
Why not sell the blazer and cut up a burb? I would think that would be easier.
