Re: windows
first i think i would smash him then make him pay for the damages...
you know that truck windows are the same? The cheapest way to replace is from a junkyard. think there is someone on the parts board with some for sale also. good luck..

Re: windows
Do watch the glass if you are getting them from a junk yard as there is tinted and untinted glass. I assume you're going to want a matched set which ever you get.
I got door glass at a junk yard once (in Bothell, WA). The price was just slightly less than new ones from the catalogs. I'd suggest calling Wes down at Classicheartbeat.com or emailing Frank (PICKMUP) and see what they have for new and/or used. Most glass shops should be able to get new windshield glass and install it, but I don't know if they can get door glass.

Re: windows
windshield is easy to remove and replace just be slow and diligent
get new rubber and use plenty of lube if you get one from the junkyard make sure the plastic in between panes of glass isnt melted right above the defrost vents very common around here if it isnt melted it can also discolor bad so look close and clean it before you take the time to remove it if your at the junkyard |
