Tach Problems
My factory tach in my Sub dosent go past 1500 RPM..It does return to zero. Is it fixable? Does anybody else have this problem?

Pull it out,make sure the needle isnt binding on the face plate,also they get dry in their after sitting a while,make sure dash is grounded(they are grounded when back plate is screwed into dash,or you could use a ground wire alligator clip to clip to back and to dash for outside testing.make sure the needle moves freely,dont force it,but give it some slight assistance with finger,very slight.Ive had them stick,and stay at a certain rpm when shutting off.worst case senario is buy a new center piece(just the tach)im sure someone here would buy your tach to play with in hopes of fixing.
