Need some drop springs
Hey guys, trying to get rid of my hacked up front suspension and replace it with a set of drop coils.
Looking for a 2 or 3 inch drop. My problem is, I can't seem to find anywhere that sells them for under 100 bucks. I hear of people getting these for 50-60 bucks all the time! Can anyone point me to a website, ebay ad, craigslist ad, anything that shows them for a better price than what I can find? Or if anyone has any used ones they want to part with! |

Re: Need some drop springs
I got a set from my local auto parts store when I had my 82. I think I paid $50 or $60 for them. I do get a better price than walk-in being I work for a local shop. I can check if you are interested on exact price and what it would cost to ship if you give me your zip...

Re: Need some drop springs
Another vote for Summit here. I spent a little less than $500 on spindles, springs and shocks delivered to my door.

Re: Need some drop springs
Summit was one that I never checked, but I'll give it a try!
I already have drop shocks on it, and the truck is already slammed in the front, but we can't align it because of the extreme drop, and it's hitting the bump stops like crazy, so I want a better ride, and new springs. bobbo, I'm gonna do some research and see what I can find at parts stores around here. I still use my old shop discount at most places anyways so it shouldnt be too bad, but I might be getting in touch with you. |
