Holy hell! That was exactly the truck I was looking for when I bought mine. I would have snapped that up in a second. Instead I bought a rust bucket, small back window, stepside, 65 for $1000. You guys down south have no idea how lucky you are when it comes to condition and availability of these trucks.

Cool truck. Like in the description "Original paint (0 rust, just Patina)". Didn't think Patina came without underlying rust. Guess there is a difference between rust and rust turned cancer.

Guess it is the fact that it is all original and running.

Wow! I've only seen that trim a couple of times, and I've been looking at these trucks religiously for a LONG time.

Re: If anybody is interested

I picked up a 1961 from Grants pass Oregon last summer just for the complete trim. I picked it up for 450$, but it was a longbed and i must shorten the trim for my short bed. I would kill to get my hands on the same trim set for a shortbed.

Re: If anybody is interested

When I emailed the owner Sunday to see if it was still available was pretty surprised that it was. I didn't waste anytime buying it and should be at my door in the next week, I can't wait!!! I plan on changing the suspension and not much more. I will use it to pull around my other worn out hotrod on a trailer to different events. This will be my first 60-66 truck, I never paid much attention to them until going to Dino's house in AZ and seeing his 60-66 Chevy emporium and then doing some work a few weeks ago on a 64 for a customer, that was all it took for the need to have one.

I'm glad someone on the board got it. All too often cool stuff like this is sold and then just dissapears and we never see it again. Keep us posted on it and enjoy it.
