How's it run? Body looks to be solid. Needs a good cleaning but it looks like a good deal.

Re: I got a 73 k5 for 650 bucks!

well thats my aunt she is never thrilled! i want to rip off that hideous grille guard, and put some original rally's on it, tbi 350 and 700r4 with a 241 t case, basicly i want a new drive train in a full vert body! everything else goes back to stock, except for a 10 inch lift and 37's, it does not run right now, someone pulled the pass side head off for some reason, i was told they just started to part the thing out, but i have a spare 350 thats going into it, while i rebuilt and turn the original motor into a tbi motor. I ran the number on the block and its the original motor! and the odo says 50k and supposly it was on ranch its whole life, so im thinking its possible that it really only has 50k on it, but i guess there is no way to tell for sure!

Re: I got a 73 k5 for 650 bucks!

for full size i would really recomend a np205 or a np208 factory t-case over the 241. they are much stronger and have beter ratios for playing (hahaha) and you know you will be...
