Clicking noise heard at lockup

Well I think I have screwed up.When I removed all the smog pump and stuff.I also removed the vacuum source to the TCC switch on the fire wall.I have only put about 1500 miles on the truck.I fixed my error today, but when the convertor locks up I hear a faint clicking noise.I only drove it around the block.I have had no issues with the trans.ATF looks good no foul smells. Its a 86 SWB 305,700r4.I'm worried I have messed the trans up.What do you think.Or need more info. Thanks KA
