Air tank placement

Hey Y'all,

Just ordered a complete air bag kit from Slam, should be here next week. I'm thinking of bolting the tanks to the outside of the frame, directly under the cab. I'm doing a frame-off on my 67 GMC, so not sure about the clearance under there. Can anyone tell me if they'll fit? Tanks are 8" in diameter. I don't wanna drill holes and mount them and then find out that the cab won't fit over them!

Thanks.

Re: Air tank placement

short answer no. you're going to run into a lot of interference. look at your front cab mount bracket, you've got about 1" of clearance from there. Then you look at how close you'll be to the ground and its a poor spot
