Power steering conversion 72 SWB

I need to get away from the manual steering thing. A friend hooked me up with a pump and gear box. I need to get brackets for the pump from the local recycle yard. If anyone has pics of the brackets I need it would be really appreciated so I know what I'm looking for. ( 350 swp) For the rest of the installation, is there anything else I need to fabricate or to buy? I plan on using the stock steering column for now. I'll get new lines as well. Any help/advise would be helpful.

Thanks Guys....

Mark

If your truck still has the short water pump this is the type of bracket.

John,
Would you happen to have a neat drawing like that for an Inline 6 power steering set up?

Re: Power steering conversion 72 SWB

I just finished this on my 67. It was A P.I.N.T.A. to do alone. I suggest having a friend to help align the shaft on the steering column while you bolt up the gear box. other than that is was easy.

Re: Power steering conversion 72 SWB

The P/S brackets, Are they pretty common on most vehicles w/350 motors?
