Hood hinge spring

I need a picture on how the spring attaches to the hood hinge on a 65. The previous owner disassembled it and now I have boxes of parts to deal with. Finally have some time to start working on this truck again.
Thanks for the help,
Jason

Re: Hood hinge spring

I don't have the pics, but will recommend you invest in a factory assembly manual. What they are is a book of production illustrations showing how the pieces of the truck go together. They show where hoses and wires were routed too. Should be a big help to you. You can buy them from the vendors.

Re: Hood hinge spring

It was so obvious once I saw the picture and then put the hinge on the inner fender. I was looking for 2 notches on the hinge that the spring would attach to, like a 67-72. Thanks again for the help.
