Tailgate Won't Close
Well my tailgate won't stay closed. I just bought the truck so I'm not sure if there are supposed to be catches for it or what. Will take pics for you guy when i get home. Could it be that they are not extending far enough?

try spraying ( wd40 or similar) the heck out of the handle mechinism and the prongs that extend out on each side while working the latch up n down to loosen it up and let them fully extend to lock the gate

They do extend, but if there is anything they are supposed to catch on it's not there............ do they just catch on the tailgate?
