Re: 72 on 20s with 40s

It is OK on certain trucks, just not ours.

Re: 72 on 20s with 40s

He's a member here...I don't like the wheels and tires but that's just me.I think it would like real nice not so tall with normal size rims and maybe 33s or 35s.Those tires are too big to be using with stock axles...

Re: 72 on 20s with 40s

Check out all his threads in 4x4 about fitting tires to lift.He asked all that just to get it set up to sell...huh?I think the price seems ok if it`s as good as it looks and you can get enough back out of the non-offroad tires and wheels(as far as what I`d do).No comment on the toy truck wheels.Oops, was that a comment?

Re: 72 on 20s with 40s

i would look fine with an all chrome wheel
its just that the black throws you off in pictures

my dads friends neighbor has 2 excursions ones his and ones his wifes
both same color and tire sizes (38's) but she has an all chrome wheel and he has those same wheels and hers looks 100 times better IMO

I wanna see a flex shot!
Let's see how it articulates...and destroys the fenders. Absolute "Mall Crawler"

Re: 72 on 20s with 40s

IMO, That thing is useless! You can't wheel it or get it in any crazy angles or it will roll and\or the axles will break..... if your gonna build something like that, atleast make it useable.

EDIT: that's the term I was lookin' for...... MALL CRAWLER, lol!

Re: 72 on 20s with 40s

If the truck is what he say's it is, that is a deal on it. The wheels can be sold and have a nice set of wheels and tires installed. If it has had all the work done to it as stated then the truck is finished except for the wheels & tire combo.
I think it's a cool truck less wheels.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

The truck is beautiful... if it wasn't for the wheel/tire combo.
