Cargo Light mounting bolts

I am replacing the cargo light on my 72, and the rubber covered nuts on the inside are destroyed. Where can you get new mounting rubber grommet nuts to replace theses. I have a new reproduced cargo light and it did not come with mounting bolts.I did a search and found that these have to be insulated so that it does not ground through the housing. Any input?
Thanks
Ron

What you need are called well nuts and I think you can get them at Ace Hardware or even NAPA.

Re: Cargo Light mounting bolts

I got mine at ACE Hardware but the nuts were 10-32 so I bought stainless at ACE with the 10-32 threads. (Stock bolts are 10-24).

Re: Cargo Light mounting bolts

Is this the correct style of part (first picture)? The ones in my pickup look like they have a bulb (second picture with red text) on the inside which retains them to the cab, but does the bulb occur when they are tightened into place?

Re: Cargo Light mounting bolts

Just another option for you is some nut rivets. I used them (harbor freight) and worked perfectly. Just a thought for ya.

Re: Cargo Light mounting bolts

Thanks, I found well nuts at the hardware store today.

What light bulb does the cargo light take (I can't find it listed in my owner's manual, service manual, or overhaul manual)?

It's 1076 on the light bulb. On the mounting bolts, you can also find them at Golden State Parts. They are exactly the same as the original one's.
