1967-9 leafsprings on my 66 will it work?

I was just wondering since it is so much easer to find lifted leaf springs for a 1967-1969 3/4 ton if they would fit on my 66, i was thinkin just two or four inch lifted leaf springs would work nicely any help or recomedations on springs or lifts for a 1966 3/4 ton would be great

Have a local spring shop re-arch your existing springs...I have have had this done before and picked up 2-3 inches and I was able to keep my stock springs, not to mention it is more economical than a new/used set of leaf springs and the labor to install them or have them installed.

Im not sure how your springs are mounted on the rear of your 66, but I am in the middle of this little mod, that only cost me $50.

(Keep in mind.....this is not a 66 frame.)

I went to the junk yard and got the front spring hangers off the rea of a mid 70's 4x4 truck and installed them like in the pix. I gained 4" of lift. I havent set the shackle angle yet. Im not 100% sure what that will be yet, but wont be 45* like it is now.
