parts question what are these?

I'm pretty sure they go between the fender and the door on the inside.

They are call door dust shields. They go between the front of the doors and the fenders to keep dust from getting into the door jam and hinges.

Mine didn't have them when it came apart, but it will have them when it goes back together.

The seals were an option and were included on the deluxe versions of the trucks. They were mounted to the pillars so that they sealed the opening at the rear of the fender to the pillar. There are brackets available for the seals if your truck was not equipped. We have some trucks with them and some without and have not been able to notice any differences in wind noise or drafts.

Bring it up....I'm not afraid! Now, taking the wifes parking spot in the garage to work on it is the scary part!!
The better plan is for you to put them in and tell me if I even need them or not!

I don't know if you need them or not but you can buy them at Chevy Duty for $14.95. I put at set on my truck when I had the fenders off. Not that hard to put on. It's more of a pain to assemble them than it is to get them on. They have to be hand assembled using big staples which don't fit in a staple gun - you have to use a hammer to get the staples in.

hey thanks guys the description indicated where they went (kindof) but it didnt make much sense. I guess you need more parts than just the rubber?
