A couple of pictures of the '67 I just purchased. Has a few issues but overall a pretty good truck for Iowa. 3/4 ton six cyl., with stock 4 speed. I am going to try and get it running today. Previous owner removed the carb to rebuild it and never finished it so I have that to do. It had an electrical short so the PO took the cluster out and never put it back in. No major damage from the short as he unhooked the battery right away but he was looking in the wrong place for the problem. The short was under the cab in the wiring that used to go to the camper.

I got the carb on and thought I would check out the PO's wiring job before I put the cluster back in... Good thing I did. He really had it screwed up. I ended up replacing the whole under dash loom. He also had the battery cables reversed on the battery. I don't have any spark at the plugs so I need to get that sorted. I'm going to work on it again today. I'm not going to spend a lot of time on it since I'm putting the BB in it anyway but I would like to get it running.

Well I got the '67 running today. The points were screwed up, and I had to put a jumper wire in the neutral start switch plug. It sounds real good but I'm going to have to find a different carb for it. Glad I got that project done....

Not quite but I'm supposed to go look at a '72 in the next couple of days....

The white '67 has a big block and the maroon '69 has a big block the blue '67 has a six and the '70 has a TPI 350.

On another note.. If anyone has a carburetor that will fit the '67 I need one. (six cylinder) I just need something so I can start it and move it around, it doesn't have to be a show carb....

man i wish my dad still had his 67.. when i was about 13 or 14 he had 67 shortbed stepside....bought it for 700 bucks...no rust on the body but the paint the PO had on before was spray paint so it was horribile but it was a solid truck.... then he sold it... i really do like the 67 you just purchased lockdoc
