Door Pin Bushing replace - easy quesion?
I just replaced the door pin bushings on my friends 2000 Blazer but not sure how to put th spring back in. The spring is on the top hinge and holds the door in two open positons. It has lots of tension and not easy compress to replace. Thanks for any input.

On a topkick with the door closed it was an easy install. doubt it that will apply since your clip doesn't tilt, but you never know.

Re: Door Pin Bushing replace - easy quesion?
Thanks for the responses. I had a feeling there was a "special" tool for this. Zip ties and a vice didn't seem to be working.
I will check the local auto parts stores. Thanks again. |

zipties and a large pair of channel locks did the trick for me.
