Simple 88-98 dropped spindle question
This weekend I'm going to lower my 90 Silverado. Before I get the front torn down I want to know if there are different sized spindles for these trucks. The place I bought my spindles from listed only one part number, but the same place only had one part number showing when I bought spindles for my 84 GMC.

Re: Simple 88-98 dropped spindle question
Belltech lists 2 kits for 88-98 C1500 Chevy... One for 88-91 standard cab and one for everything else. Sorry I can't be a little more help.

Re: Simple 88-98 dropped spindle question
Agreed. They offer a standard cab version & another for the big-block & ext-cab trucks IIRC.

Re: Simple 88-98 dropped spindle question
What I was wanting to know was if the 88-98 is like the 73-87. The 73-87 has 2 different rotor sizes. And for some reason everytime I have lowered a 73-87 I got the wrong spindles. This wil be my first 88-98 lowering. I have lowered S-10s, a Datsun and a couple 73-87s.
I may have to trim my control arms. I swapped to 15x6 steel wheels, I will know when I cross that bridge.
