ok i am going to lower my truck but i have a few questions first.i am going to relocate my gas tank to under the bed is there any problems with lowering my truck and relocateing the gas tank and second what would be a good drop hight???????

to answer both of your q's....

quite a few folks on here have slammed rigs with Blazer tanks. If it's tucked up behind the differential, you should have no problemo.

as far as the lowering question, well that's up to you. you should look through the gallery or other posts about lowering and find a rig that appeals to you. Then, ask the owner his/her recipe for dropping it.

just my .02. and by the way, stepsides are cooler. don't let those pesky fleetside guys tell you otherwise!!!!

Hey now Doug.... what's wrong with a fleetside!

Doug has pretty much sumed up the tank question, as for the drop, that is completely up to you. You can go just with lowering springs, drop spindles, bags, z'd frame, or even a drop member, it all depends on your liking along with your bank account.

yes I am pretty sure that will work.. I have seen some guys that have been laying frames with blazer tanks so I dont think whatever lowering you plan to do you shouldnt have an issue.. Yeah so you guys will hate but I just sold my stepside bed and I am looking for a fleetside. haha.. I guess i will be one of those fleetside guys but right now i am nothing.

the tank goes between the frame rails, aft of the rear axle. basically where your spare would have been located.
