Looking for option code
on the inside of the glove box my jimmy has a code for a posi rear end,
looking for what kind? code is 4G80AM any help would be great. thanks Dwayne

No help to you question. But for information. I ordered my 72 Jimmy with posi. and the glove box lists the code 1G8010. Mines 4 speed, don't see what difference that would make. But mine is an eaton. Came with 307 gears, but changed to 373 when they made the nation speed limit 55 years ago. Also I remember mine was made in St. Louis. Unless they have different codes for different plants.???
