Nothing here other than you might want to check the rear seal while you are under there. LockDoc

Re: Turbo 400
I'd say before you start, dry it off real good and run it around a bit and find EXACTLY where it is leaking from. Front seal = got to come out for repair.Speedo, shift linkage, cooler lines, can leak down giving the appearance that the pan is leaking, etc.
If it IS the pan leaking, take it off and gently pound out any distortions caused by over-tightening the bolts. torque pan bolts to 12 lbs.only. Then after a week or so of use,re-torque (12 lbs again).

Re: Turbo 400
One other thing, check the pan after its off for raised bolt holes(from over tighting). Lay the edge of the pan on a 2x4 and tap with a hammer to flatten out the humps, will help the new gasket to seal better.

Re: Turbo 400
If I knew it was going to leak after I took the first test run, I would have replaced the little ring where the shifter Linkage goes into the housing.
To do this I had drain the transmission again and get a new seal for the pan because it ripped when I was taking it out.
