VA C20 Start
Hello all from Va.
Starting my 1972 C20 rust abatement. Got my floorpans and rockers from Brothers. Does anyone have any tips or hints. Should I repace the whole floorpan or just the rusted area? (Pic) The front top corners need repair, any suggestions. (Pic) Thanks for your help. I would like to get the cab buttoned up. |

Not sure about the floors, but if it were mine I'd check a little deeper in the roof/dripchannel rust ya got goin on, looks a little rough.
How bad is it??

Re: VA C20 Start
I would not go crazy cutting out those floor pans.. Just replace what needs to be replaced. But I would dig real deep into the roof area before any thing else that can be a very hard place to repair.

Re: VA C20 Start
I agree, we need more Old Chevys running down VA's Highways.
I also agree about doing the Cab first. Once you're done, you'll have all sorts of things hanging around your truck, Hehehehehe.
