Has anyone ?

I asked this on the Electrical thread but didn't get a response so I'll ask it here. Has anyone installed a Ron Francis rewire kit on one of our trucks? I've seen the threads on this board about the Painless kits but the Ron Francis kit has a few litle extra features that I like. I'm trying to find out how easy/hard it was to install.

Re: Has anyone ?

You might want to check out American Autowire. They have what is called a Classic Update kit which is great. They are rumored to be coming out with that kit for 'our' trucks.

Re: Has anyone ?

I haven't used the Ron Francis kit, but I've heard nothing but good things about them.

The AAW kit mentioned above won't be ready until 3rd quarter of 2008 (as per an e-mail from them) but they have the universal kits too.

Some of those threads about the Painless harnesses have some info on the Ron Francis kits too, IIRC. Might check em out a bit closer.
