Radiator Support: Brothers vs LMC
I'm shopping around for a good deal on a radiator support for my '70 Chevy CST-10. Brothers and LMC list the supports for the same price. My husband has bought parts from LMC in the past and believes they are good. He just wants to make sure that the radiator support will fit like it is supposed to before we buy it. Does anyone have a perference of using Brothers vs. LMC? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Re: Radiator Support: Brothers vs LMC
Aside from Brothers being a Site Vendor, they are having a very nice sale going on. I believe it ends tomorrow. But your question is Part Fit - One vs. The Other. I purchased some smaller detail items from LMC and had to return a few of them because they did not fit correctly. I have heard sheet metal has also caused an issue with fit. I have only ordered one item from Brothers and it fits fine. As for the radiator support, I would consider Goodmark Products. They may cost a little more but it's worth it. Good Luck.

Re: Radiator Support: Brothers vs LMC
I have a buddy that works for YearOne here in Georgia and to be honest with you there is a really good chance you will get the same part from them both. The aftermarket stuff is manufactured by a few different companies and most of the vendors will carry the same products. I would go with Brothers because I think they have a better service going.
Since you are in Georgia, just run up to Goodmark who is in Lawrenceville Ga. and you will not have to deal with shipping! Last edited by Number98; 05-01-2008 at 09:36 PM. |

No real reasons not to use LMC, but go with Brother's since they support our site......
and this is from someone who lives just a few miles from LMC!

more than likely the same part. Brothers supports this board, LMC does not. Brothers will give you better personal service than LMC. Your choice.

Re: Radiator Support: Brothers vs LMC
I agree with all comments. We have a small shop and used to get a discount from LMC. We dont anymore becuse we dont spend $ 1000 each and every year. That being said I think lots of pieces are being manuf. from the same sources

Re: Radiator Support: Brothers vs LMC
Will we recommend LMC if they realize supporting tis website is a profitable move?
I don`t think it`s either or.There are far more than two choices. Those two are just the two largest choices.I`d go with local to save shipping and to support businesses closer to home.
