Middle seat belt - which side does buckle go on?
Does the female buckle go on the driver's side, or passenger's side?
I am sure it really doesn't matter, just wondering which is correct. Thanks! Shawn

Everyone must be out working on their trucks today. I am going to put the female side on the pass side, my thought being that then the driver doesn't have to worry about which belt to grab.

My truck has only driver and passenger belts, no third belt in the center. Not sure if thats original or not, but that is the way it is, lol.

Re: Middle seat belt - which side does buckle go on?
I don't remember ever seeing center seat belts on the trucks I've looked at.
Assuming that most passengers will come in on the passenger side door, I think I would install it so I would have the least interference with the seatbelt and the passenger sliding on the seat. That is, the bulkier piece (female part) on the drivers side and the small flat male piece on the passenger side. This way the passenger will not have to slide over the larger piece.... Hope this makes sense??? |
