Using older armrests on a '68

I'm not a big fan of the '67-'71 armrests, but I really like the look of the ones on the '55-'65 models. Does anyone know if the older armrest will fit, or what the distance is between the bolt holes on the older rest is?

Re: Using older armrests on a '68

The hole spacing is the same and they can be used. I am using the 55-66 armrests on my '69.

Re: Using older armrests on a '68

I used the 55-59 armrests in my 67 extended cab and I used the pre 55 armrests in my 68 crew cab build.

Re: Using older armrests on a '68

Where are you ordering these arm rests from? I haven't found a very good selection of colors yet.
