Scalloped paint jobs

Hi,

I can't afford a full respray yet so in the meantime I'd like to liven up my yellow 67 with some custom touches. I'm sure I've seen a couple of pics on here of trucks with scallop paint jobs on the hood. I need some inspiration so post pics of your custom paint jobs please. Needs to be something I can do fairly simply as I'm a complete novice at this kind of thing.

Thanks

Re: Scalloped paint jobs

Haven't got any recent pictures of it as its been off the road for acopuple of years due to a combination of circumstances including me fitting new rockers, kick panels etc. I'm hoping to get her roadworthy and tested soon.

The rollover bar has gone now, I'm thinking maybe red scallops to match the red interior, I like the hood on the first picture.

Re: Scalloped paint jobs

I'd paint the front bumper white and leave it. I think the white bumper looks great with the white front trim. A chrome bumper would look great if you had the stainless/aluminum trim up front.
