whats the cheapest way to convert my 6 lug drum to 6 lug disk.

6 lug is a little more difficult than 5 lug due to available rotors that fit. CPP has a kist but its like $599 or something.
5 lug guys are buying brackets (made by guys on the board or Ebay and using off the shelf calipers (camaros or caprice) and rotors Also need to decide if you want an emergency brake since some have them and some don't

They say you can use a 88-91 heavy half w/6 lugs, you have to swap the lower A arm to a 3/4 ton.

if your going disc fronts, the best price I found was for the McGaughy's kit at GMCPauls.
got it on my rig and I'm quite pleased......

I want change out the front of my 2wd 68 suburban.I was hoping I could do some kind of spindle swap.thanks for the heavy half idea thats what I'll try first.I think it will be easier than changing the whole truck to five lug,theirs a lot of different 6 lug wheels out now. wig
