'05 LT Silverado-shocks bad??
My truck has 49,000 miles on it and I am fairly certain the shocks HAVE to be bad. This thing bounces a LOT. I bought the truck with 39,000 on it and I just thought that might be the way the truck rode but there is no way. The shocks that are on it now are blue. Anyone else have a truck this year with any experience?
Thanks, B |

Re: '05 LT Silverado-shocks bad??
Doubt it very much. May be wrong shocks but worn out---very very unlikely. Stock shocks normally last well over 100K miles and 5-8 years. I put some monroe air shocks on the back of my 02 but the originals were perfect. Just needed that extra when towing a loaded trailer. Check you tire pressure and keep it within 2lbs of the door sticker. IF it is a 3/4 ton---they ride a whole lot stiffer. huck
