Guys i'm fitting new bushes in my rear stabilizer arm right now i've stopped to come in and post this, I had to melt out the old ones but now i'm left with this metal inner ring wedged real tight inside...Question, am I supposed to take this out also or does it stay there?? problem is if it has to stay in then the new Nylon bushes won't fit. Thanks in advance.

I believe you are supposed to remove the sleeves for the old bushings. However befor you do that, place the bushings in the freezer for 1/2 hour to shrink them. Then just befor you remove them from the freezer warm the end of the panhard bar that you are working on to expand it. If they don't go together then, remove the sleeves. WES

Just an update for future reference, to say that I removed the metal sleves as sugested by Wes and the new urithane bushes fitted very snug into the socket. So i'm sure that's the way to go.
