Re: Pictures of new exhaust system
Pretty cool! Where you forced to go under the axle? Do you have a better picture of the cut-outs? Did they come with the turndowns?

Re: Pictures of new exhaust system
I'm guessing the answer will be no, but do you think you will have any issues with the exhaust rubbing since it was run below the rear axle? I'm planning on a 4/6 kit on my truck and would like to have it piped to the rear of the truck, but I think I will have to opt for something like this, or dumping before the rear axle.
Again, sweet setup!

Re: Pictures of new exhaust system
The pictures I took of the exhaust is on a two poster lift, the exhaust is not hitting when on the lift.
The turn down pipes on the cut outs didn't come with them, they were made by the guy that did the exhaust. |

Re: Pictures of new exhaust system
Very nice looking exhaust! Which shorty headers are you using? Are you running a 350? I was thinking of ordering the same cutouts. Are you happy with them?
Thanks, Renegade |

Headers are Sanderson, motor is a ZZ383 GM unit.
The cutouts are working, that makes me happy. |

Re: Pictures of new exhaust system
If you lower these you get into a very tight corner as far as routing the pipe up and over the rear axle. I have seen couple of my truck buddies, with the pipe jumping outside the frame rail and up into the rear wheel housing then over the rear and out of the back.
