Ramp Truck Fun!!!

I had to deliver a big a$$ '70 Riviera to someone today that had no rear tires and rims and had flat, coming off the rim tires on the front. I had to stop off the camera a few times to change the placement of the hook. When they slide over like they do in the first video, I have to hook the cable to further point to outside, and it will pull it back straight. This car has no key, so they pretty much go where they wanna go when the column is locked. It would take me hours to load up one like this when I still used my trailer, but this took a total of maybe 15 mins. I decided to shoot a little video to show the old beast in action. This old C-30 Ramp is the only vehicle that has ever consistantly made me money. They usually do the opposite.

Re: Ramp Truck Fun!!!

Snatch blocks are your friend...would've made it easier. Especially with that big tree next to your truck.
No steering can make 'em a pain to load. Sounded like the winch was work pretty hard.

I have them but they usually are more of a pain to use than they are worth IF the winch will actually do it, especially on the ones I expect to change directions a few times like this one. Sometimes I have to use them. You're right though, I probably should have used one with this tank, because it worked the winch pretty hard.

You sure have AT LEAST 2 trucks that are perfect candidates for it!
