Re: 6 cyl. power steering

Is there any other brackets included with this setup,,,,,,, especially the small bracket which braces the back side of the pump to the alternator bracket...

Re: 6 cyl. power steering

This bracket set-up has the alternator adjustment slot made into it. You would remove the existing bracket on a non-power steering motor when this unit is installed. All brackets are there, just need pulleys. For those wondering about years...this unit will bolt up to 230's and 250's from 1963 up to the mid 70s.

Re: 6 cyl. power steering

If you say its a 72 model then I will take it. I have a 72 gear box and I don't want to go hunting in the wrecking yard for the right hose connecting on the rear of the pump.... All I want to do is buy the 72 six cylinder hose setup and bolt it in!!!!! Buy the way 69-72 pumps are the same, 73 -77 are the same, 78-81 are the same and 82 to 86 are the same hose setups for year categories. Found that out on my last power steering setup "major mess up" on a six banger. It took me an extra week to figure out my gear box and pump were miss matched and its either find the correct pump connect or custom make hoses....

Send me a P.M. with your mailing address and I'll send out a bank money order buy Friday
