Hubcaps Missing

Rinsed all the dirt off my truck at car wash. Then stopped at girlfriends and got her. I KNOW the hubcaps were on when we left. We had to go to Wal-Mart... the nearest one a little over 10 miles away in Richmond. So we went over there... now on the way there we hit a bump a little hard but not real bad.. nothing that hadn't been done before and they've always stayed on there.
Get out of Wal-Mart go back to her house and ... passenger side hubcaps are GONE!!
What is the probability of 2 of them comeing off at once?? I have a feeling someone took them. They were the original type with the blue bowtie in the middle from my 72.

Was the bump on the right side of the truck? If so, it is possible to have lost both of them at once. You could go back to the area and look for them on the side of the road. Just some ideas.

When i was 18 i had a 1980 Dodge Mirada a smaller version of the Magnum its kinda rare, and the factory wheelcovers are rarer to find than the car,i was going off a freeway off ramp, and a big dip in the road, looked in rearview both of them basically went rolling past us,down the embankment.I stopped on the shoulder climbed down the hill and discovered the were somewhere in the black berry bushes,i said screw it,ill try to find more, well i found 2 at a hubcap shop, first think he said was these are quite rare only came on Mirada,i was thinking crap,he said if you buy both $150,i said ill think about it,went and bought some Appliance cragar style rims for i think $50,and the whole car looked better even though im not a cragar style fan, atleast it didnt look like a old lady car anymore then i got underneath and cranked on the torsion bars and lowered the front a bit.Id say its highly possible, because ive experienced it,what isses me off is at Walmart i went in for 5 minutes came out my Ralley wheel spare was gone,so i put in a stock plain rim, with a bald tire week later it was gone, now i got a Ralley in their with a chain bolted to the bed and a lock.and everytime they took the tire irons and they were the old ones that were actually good, now i keep one and a jack under the seat.

Went back to the area where they could of fell off at the only major bump and looked all around for quite a stretch. Never did find them... guess I will have to find some used ones... or something different.

I got them back although not sure who stole them. They were taken at Wal-Mart. Then when turning in an application at a grocery store 10 miles away from that Wal-Mart I get back outside after being inside for probably 10 minutes they are leaning up against my front driver's side where I can see them. No sign of anyone around either.

OK.
Stolen Saturday at Wal-Mart.
I thought they could of fallen off but I doubted it because I never hit any major bumps. I went looking for them at the location of the only major bump and found nothing but some Buick hubcaps.
They were returned to me 3 days later at a grocery store 10 miles away from the Wal-Mart. I found them laying against my front tire on the driver's side at the grocery store. Not sure who had them. :p :p

That pic is from way back before my truck had any work done to it. Trust me.. the hubcaps were in the back in the bed. When I started work on the truck they were part off and part in the bed

I had sold my van to a coworker and bought a new one (same year). By chance they both had the same key sets! He never knew this and I had discovered it by chance when I had heard that Dodge used only 25 or so key combinations on all vehicles! Whenever I saw the van parked anywhere in town or a shopping mall I would move it! Drove him nuts for a year before I fessed up to messing with him...LMAO.

Don't underestimate the deviousness of your freinds!
