Question Signal Light Cancel

I have my Steering Wheel off to replace the top bearing. Thought I would fix my signal light. It won't cancel when used for a right turn. Both of the springs are there but the cam is cracked.

What catches the canceling springs to cause them to cancel??

Should I replace just the cam or the whole switch?

If you buy a whole switch does it come with the cam?

Yes the switch should come with the cam and new springs as a unit. confirm with your parts supplier.

I did this to mine last summer But I just replaced the cam and got all new springs from Chevy Duty it fairly simple just take the old cam out transfer the signal lever springs and switch contacts and pop it back in place. the springs cancel by the other plastic cam that rides inside the outer cam and has the horn contact on it
Hope this helps
