Re: 4x4 front driveshaft ?

I have have or had 3 or 4 205's and 3 203's They were all from years varying from 71-78. They were not interchangeable on any of the ones I have had. I do have both right now and could show you the difference if needed.

The 203 has a flat plate with 4 bolt holes that bolts to the front of the t-case from the drive line side of the plate.

The 205 has a yoke on the front of the T-case that accepts the u-joint right from the CV using fine thread bolts from the t-case side of the yoke.

Which one are you looking for? I have 2 more 205 front drive lines. Only the 1 203 DL that still needs to go back in the wifes truck.

I need one for a 205, I understand it needs to be 261/2 inches long collappsed and 32 somewhat inches fully extended. The on I have is too short because PO had a bigblock installed (not original) and instead of having this one lenghened I would prefer to find a original one. How much are you asking shipped to 80910 and yes , I would like to see a pic, Thanks

Re: 4x4 front driveshaft ?

I have 3 sizes right now and to tell you the truth I am not sure if any of them are original. One of them most likely is but I am not for certain. but, If you have one wouldn't be easier and cheaper to get a new tube welded in it? They are pretty heavy just to ship it would probably cost as much as lengthening yours.

I would be happy to measure the ones I have for you though. Depending on which one is the correct size I have one thats almost brand new and the other was rebuilt 1 year before I bought my truck (that got torn apart 1 mo. after I bought it) so its got pretty low miles on it too.

I'm thinking 100 or 150 depending on which one. Let me know if I need to measure box and weigh one or if you want to just get your re-tubed.

Here is the difference between the mounting of the 203 & 205 at the transfer case.
