I sent an email asking what it takes to buy it since he stated that the auction will be ending real soon . This guy responded with one word .....Money . Not how I would answeer a potential buyer . Just wondering if it was someone here . Frank

Actually , his second response was a little different .
I sent this ,in response to the single word answer of the first email ,to which he responds with several insults . I love it . You are complaining about how no one is bidding on your truck and that the auction is going to END real soon , and you answer questions like that . Frank

Not mine either. What a clean old truck! He probably thinks that he has a "rare" truck that's worth more money than it actually is. In a sense he probably is right about it being rare in the fact that it is a clean low mileage truck, but they made the 73-87 bodys for a number of years and they can still be found in this condition if you look long and hard enough.
The thing that will hurt selling price on it right now is the price of gas. Sounds like this guy is being a jerk about it too, so that's not really going to help get it sold either. He'd be lucky to get between 6-7K for it in my opinion tops, and if somebody offers it up, he'd better take it. The price of trucks and SUVs has gone in the tank. He most likely is one of these guys that thinks he'll get twice as much as what I think it's worth. Just my opinion. ...Joe

I have had several emails with this guy . He cant stop . He stated in one email that he had a $2800 deposit locally and that ebay was full of idiots . He said it is way to nice to waste time on a lousy 2-3000 dollars . I congratulated him on the sale and he responded he didnt have a $2800 deposit like previously stated but that he had a deposit on a $2800 sale price . He ended the auction early and the listing was at $2400 or so with two days to go . I would have liked to have it but his first and second emails were so out there , I would not take the chance .

Wow not mine either but what an awesome looking truck. Sounds like the owners kind of and idiot though. If I was trying to sell something I would not have responded with those emails.

It's a nice truck, but the ones going for big money are half ton short beds. Don't get me wrong, I love long beds and own one myself, but the rest of the market sure doesn't think the same way.
