WOW... She took her top OFF! Look where she put it!

We finally did it! We took the top off the blazer. The PO told me it was never taken off, I can believe it with the original seals, rubber etc... Here are some pics and where I will store it. That was the dilema, where do I store it. Before and after pics... Take care all. BTW thats me driving.

Just kidding, thats my 9 yr old.

I was sitting at a stop light today in my little Scion and I looked in my rearview mirror and there was a big ol orange Blazer behind me. It was Bouncy, and he was topless too. Those Blazers sure look good with their tops off.

Re: WOW... She took her top OFF! Look where she put it!

Using the Bowflex is what helped me lift it off. Thanks guys, we LOVE it with the top off. We went driving around for an hour and it was great.
Convertibles are the way to go even here in hot south Texas!

Becareful though, if you're anything like me, that top won't ever go back on, it's probably been 6 months since mine has been on.

Where the heck did you get that? It sure is unusual to see one that looks new and unmolested like that one. How cool.

I was sitting at a stop light and saw a lil', tiny scion loaded to the max with stuff and thought, "that looks like CG, I better not use that scion as a speed bump!"

I've been driving it on sunny Fridays. I have the soft-top partly installed, maybe I'll finish the install today.

Topless is fun. You could create a nice lift/sling to hold that top just above the bed of your pickup. Mine is simple, non mechanical and only cost me about $12 in material. Check out this thread on top hoists - http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=297467

Congrats on going topless! Wasn't it just earlier this week you were contemplating doing it - glad it didn't take long to get you convinced. Topless is definitely where it is at!

If I remember right that is a single wall, right? Glad to see you finally took the plunge. Like Jtrux said, it is possible that you will NEVER put it back on.

Re: WOW... She took her top OFF! Look where she put it!

Yukon...yes this is the first time we took it off. Yes single top Critter. I wanted to store it in a safe place and like my SA guys say, I just may never put it back on. Mario, I'll try to stop by this weekend. Some moron hit the bridge on IH10 Ralph Fair Rd. (bridge overpass is closed) and the traffic is UNREAL just to cross. Thanks everyone for the words, I really like going topless.

Once you take your top off it is hard to put it back on. Mine came off in 2001 and has never be back on. Now go have some fun.

Re: WOW... She took her top OFF! Look where she put it!

Thanks Diesel. You should buy it, if its semi-original, il rust and good price. You won't be sorry. I was thinking about buying a '67 Camaro convertible but the price was crazy. I bought my Blazer for 1/6 the price of a Camaro and with top off its a blast to drive. Not to mention, the Blazer will keep its value. Its a win/win vehicle! Thanks again.
